Our school offers healthy meals each day. Beginning school year 2023-24, we are joining Minnesota's Free School Meals Program!

Although no application is required to receive this new free meal benefit, completing the Application for Educational Benefits is still important! Your child(ren) may qualify for other benefits like reduced fees at school. At public schools, your application may also help the school qualify for education funds, discounts, and other meal programs.

Litchfield Public Schools strongly encourages ALL families to complete the Application for Educational Benefits for Free/Reduced benefits.

If you applied for and were qualified for Free/Reduced meal benefits for your students from last school year 2022-23, those benefits will expire on October 17, 2023. You must reapply for benefits by this date in order to see if you qualify for benefits to continue for school year 2023-24. If no application is received and processed, your status will move to paid after this date and you must apply funds to your students accounts.

It is highly encouraged to apply for Free/Reduced benefits online via your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, then select More>Applications, so they can be processed electronically, however, if preferred, paper applications are available in the district office, at any of the schools, download and print from this website, or you may request to have one sent home with your student.
