My name is Chris Olson and I am the Principal at Lake Ripley School. Our building houses kindergarten through fourth grade.

The staff believes in making Lake Ripley School the best by focusing on instructional practices that are good for children, creating a safe and positive environment, building strong relationships with parents, and making sure learning is continuous. With everyone working together for our children, we will achieve excellence for all.

This year we are teaching our students about:

RESPONSIBILITY: doing what you’re supposed to do, being accountable, pursuing excellence and using self control

FAIRNESS: treating people equally, playing by the rules

CARING: to show love, regard and concern for the well-being of others, to show love without expecting any in return

CITIZENSHIP: doing your share to make your school and community a better place, cooperating with others, obeying laws and rules, respecting authority, protecting the environment and voting

RESPECT: what you think of others and yourself, how you treat others and their property
