Astronomy is the study of celestial objects.  In this class, students will learn about ancient astronomers and techniques used in astronomy, as well as the sun, planets, stars, constellations, and black holes.  It is a class designed for students have an interest in the night sky, and for students who prefer the physical side of science. 

There is also an opportunity to see what is being learned in the classroom during astronomy club, an optional organization that spends time outdoors viewing the night sky.
