Welcome to my classroom website! You may use this site to learn about the work seminar curriculum used in the Special education department, get information about the math classes I teach, or learn about how the structured study time is used for our students. There are also links to web sites useful for studying at home.

This class is a continuation of the work seminar learning. It will give students an opportunity to get school credit for work experience. They will be supported as needed on the workplace. We will be observing the student on the job at least once per quarter. Work Supervisors will be contacted monthly for additional information.

Structured Study hall is a class that allows students that are on Individualized Educational Plans (I.E.P.s) to get additional assistance on their homework for classes during the day.  This also allows students to work on the individual skills that are needed to be successful in school. This may include practice in reading fluency, Math fluency, writing skills or study skills.

These two classes will be team-taught with Mrs. Damerow.  We will be working on mastery of the Graduation Components of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA)in Mathematics.  We will also be working on Consumer Mathematics and increasing fluency in arithmetic.
