INTRODUCTION TO WOOD WORKING TECHNOLOGY #301 1/2 credit (9-10) Graduation Standard: Technical Systems Do you enjoy working with both your hands and your mind? Then this is the class for you! Introduction to woods will teach you: project design and layout, wood jointery techniques, and how to safely operate a variety of woodworking tools and machines. You will choose one of the following demonstrated projects to complete during the class: a night stand, stereo storage unit, pedestal table, cedar chest, coffee table or bookcase. Upon completion of the class, each student will have a finished complete project.
