Physical Science is a lab-based course designed to teach students the basics of physics and chemistry. Students will also understand the nature of science, or how science is performed. We will discuss many topics. Some of these include: Motion, Fluid Forces, Energy Forms, Electricity, Electromagnetism, Light, Forces, Simple Machines, Heat, Magnetism, Waves and Sound. Class activities will include (but not be limited to) lab experiments, lab tests, written exams, group discussions, lectures and note taking, just to name a few.
